Take a chance: Three players you must start in Week 1

You didn't draft 'em as starters, necessarily, but these three players cannot sit in Week 1...

WR Eric Decker, NYJ (vs. Oak) -- Decker makes his regular season Jets debut against an Oakland Raiders defense that allowed the second-most touchdown passes last season (33), while snagging the second-fewest interceptions (9). Remember Nick Foles' seven-touchdown game? Yeah, that was the Raiders. Fantasy owners won't be relying on the New York passing game all season, but you can trust the key players in this matchup. Don't be shocked if Decker gives us 100 yards and an end-zone spike.

RB Mark Ingram, NO (at Atl) -- Again, it's all about the matchup. Ingram is coming off a solid preseason, and he figures to see a few goal-to-go carries for an elite offense. He's facing an Atlanta Falcons defense that ranked No. 31 in the NFL last season against the run, and that will again play without linebacker Sean Weatherspoon. Ingram is a committee back, a fantasy roll-of-the-dice most weeks. But in the opener, he's approved for use.

RB Fred Jackson, Buf (vs. Chi) --  Do you like touchdowns? Well, that's great, because so does Fred. He broke the plane 10 times for the Buffalo Bills last season, gaining nearly 1,300 yards from scrimmage. You drafted him in, like, the eighth round, didn't you? What a filthy steal. He remains the primary goal-line back for Buffalo, and he's facing a defense that was roasted by opposing back last year. The Bears have improved their defensive personnel up front, but the linebackers and safeties are no great shakes. Chicago's D should be a user-friendly unit once again.
