WWE superstar to Ryan Braun: ‘Shut the [expletive] up’

To say CM Punk isn't a fan of suspended Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun would be an understatement.

When asked if first-time drug offenders in Major League Baseball should be banned for life, the WWE superstar delivered a damning message to the former National League MVP.

[Report: Ryan Braun ready to admit PED use and apologize]

"Absolutely," CM Punk told Yahoo! Sports. "That way I don't have to sit and listen to any [expletive] apologies. Look at [Ryan] Braun. That dude just denied, denied, denied and then he gets caught and goes, 'oh yeah, I'm sorry, I made a mistake.' I don't believe you. You're a liar. You've already proved it publicly in an open public forum. You're a liar. Just shut the [expletive] up and go wash dishes for a living."

CM Punk, aka Phil Brooks, didn't single out just Braun, though.

"If you do drugs, you're a [expletive]."

Alrighty then.

Why such venom towards Braun and others who've been caught doping? CM Punk is part of the straight-edge subculture and abstains from alcohol and recreational drug use. He's also good friends with fellow straight-edger C.J. Wilson of the Los Angeles Angels. And he's been known to drop a pipe bomb or two - - including his now infamous 2011 promo delivered on WWE Raw.

"There seems to be this weird moral debate about what exactly is cheating," CM Punk added in preparation for his match against Brock Lesnar at WWE's SummerSlam on Sunday. "If you're on a list from some fancy bourgeoisie pharmacy, you're doing drugs. Regardless of what your personal stance is on that in the guidelines of Major League Baseball, there are banned substances. I don't care if you like the rule. If you're a baseball player, follow the rule. If you don't like it, don't be a baseball player."

So, who wants to hire Braun as a dishwasher?
