Spanish second-division club unveil must-have beer and octopus shirts

In 2013, Spanish third-division club La Hoya Lorca gained international acclaim for their lucky broccoli-themed away kit, which earned the club the unparalleled nickname of The Clockwork Broccoli. Now, Spanish second-division club CD Lugo have created their own shirts depicting the local cuisine and the results are equally wonderful.

With local brewery Estrella Galicia as a shirt sponsor, the first unique design fits the theme by making the shirt look like a glass of beer.

And the other depicts an octopus tentacle because boiled octopus is a popular dish in that region of Spain.

According to Football-shirts.co.uk, these shirts are only being worn during the club's preseason matches because they also have more traditional home, away and third kit designs. Lugo already wore the beer shirt in their first preseason match and won 3-0.

And because you've already decided that you must have these shirts, you'll be happy to know that both are available for purchase through the club's online shop.
