DTotD: Leeds fan invades pitch, hits Sheffield Wednesday keeper in the face

In the 77th minute of Sheffield Wednesday's Championship match against Leeds at Hillsborough, the visitors' Michael Tongue equalized to make it 1-1. A traveling Leeds fan then took this as an excuse to invade the pitch, run up to dismayed Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Chris Kirkland and shove him in the face and escaping back into the stands before stewards could get to him.

As he made his escape, his grinning face was caught clearly by television cameras so it should only be a matter of time before he's caught and punished. The match proceeded and finished at 1-1.

UPDATE: The pitch invader has already been identified as Aaron Cawley, who had previously violated the ban from every football ground in the country he received at the age of 16 numerous times. "I an not a hooligan, I just want to go back to watching Leeds play," the Gloucestershire Echo quoted him as telling a court in 2011.
