Galatasaray fans momentarily stop Arsenal from scoring goals by throwing flares on the pitch
Arsenal's Danny Welbeck took advantage of Galatasaray's shambolic defending in the first half of their Champions League match by scoring twice in the first half hour of play. Galatasaray supporters at the Emirates responded by throwing flares on the pitch, which proved to be better at defending than any of their players.

The match was briefly halted while the flares in front of the away end were cleaned up and not long after they were, Arsenal went right back to scoring with Alexis Sanchez adding a third goal before halftime. Welbeck then completed his hat trick shortly after the break to put the score at 4-0 and make it clear that four well placed flares would've been better at defending than Galatasaray's actual defenders. Galatasaray got one back from the penalty spot after Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczesny was sent off at the hour mark.
A punishment from UEFA for the impromptu flare show is likely on its way.
