A 14-year-old in Portugal made sure he got the most out of red card during a match last weekend. With the ball out of play, the boy spun around and smacked an opponent in the face, knocking the assaulted player to the ground. The referee showed the assailant a red card and as he walked off the pitch, he casually gave his victim a kick in the back.
One of the victim's teammates took exception to this and went nose to nose with the attacker, who then punched him in the face as well. And that's how you fully earn a red card. And maybe a lifetime ban, too.
