David Moyes nominated for Premier League manager of the month, so take that, doubters!

Manchester United have lost their last three matches in all competitions for the first time in over a decade and the players have joined the chorus of fans and journalists questioning David Moyes' ability to lead the reigning Premier League champions. Given all that, you might think things were looking pretty down for the beleaguered gaffer. Well guess again, sucker, because Moyes was just nominated for December's Premier League manager of the month award!

Man United had four wins, two draws and one loss in the busy final month of 2013, earning Moyes the nomination alongside Chelsea's Jose Mourinho, Everton's Roberto Martinez and Manuel Pellegrini of Man City, who went undefeated that month. And though Man United's wins came against the underwhelming opposition of Aston Villa, West Ham, Hull and Norwich, a nomination for manager of the month is a nomination for manager of the month. And you can't sack a nominee for manager of the month. That's a law.

So you can stuff your sighs in a sack, Sir Bobby Charlton. And when was the last time Sir Alex Ferguson was nominated for the Premier League manager of the month award? Certainly not as recently as a David Moyes.

If you listen carefully, you can probably hear Moyes shouting, "I'm king of the world!" right now.
