Crawley manager Steve Evans feeling too much 'magic of the cup'

Crawley Town manager and convicted criminal Steve Evans drifted into the shadowy realm of creepy touch as he consoled Matt Tubbs after his side's valiant effort in their 1-0 loss to Manchester United on Saturday. Though the big-spending non-league side failed to harness the manufactured whimsy that is the "magic of the FA Cup," Evans didn't exactly get his tips frosted and make-up done for nothing. Crawley made more than £1 million off the match (thanks to the TV broadcast and their share of Old Trafford gate receipts) and Evans got to £250 bottle of red wine with Alex Ferguson after the match.

"All right, Mr. Ferguson, I'm ready for my close-up."
