Alex Morgan and Sydney Leroux dressed as McKayla Maroney and Gabby Douglas for Halloween

Though the London Games are long over, U.S. women's national team strikers Alex Morgan and Sydney Leroux are keeping the Olympic spirit alive this Halloween by dressing up as gymnasts and fellow gold medalists McKayla Maroney and Gabby Douglas. Their leotards may have been different from the ones the Fierce Five wore, but unlike most everyone else dressing as Olympians for Halloween, their gold medals were the real deal thanks to their success at the women's football tournament in London.

Plus, Alex Morgan seems to have perfected Maroney's "not impressed" expression, perhaps with help of the thousands of marriage proposals she has received from her most adoring and creepy fans.

Of course, before going out to party with their U.S. teammates over the weekend, they swapped out the real gold medals for more party-safe dollar store versions.

And finally, here they are with Top Gun Abby Wambach, '70s style Shannon Boxx and Sarah Huffman as...someone in a blonde wig.
