The Chicago Blackhawks captain is featured in a new teaser from Bauer Hockey wearing this skintight getup, and being scanned by a handheld laser device. So it either has something to do with an announcement from the company this Thursday in Chicago about new gear, or someone is adding him to their wedding registry:
I spoke with Bauer about this video earlier today, but the details are embargoed until Thursday. You get a sense of what this announcement contains through this video; I don’t think we’re spilling any beans by saying it’s a unique approach to tailor gear to NHL players.
The “Future of Hockey Equipment” announcement is scheduled for Thursday.
