Clarke MacArthur, Robin Lehner diagnosed with concussions after scary collision
The Clarke MacArthur, Robin Lehner Monday collision appears to have had a pretty bad consequences on the two players involved.
Lehner and MacArthur are both out with concussions, according to general manager Bryan Murray. And with Craig Anderson still injured, and now Lehner out, this continues to be a blow to Ottawa’s goaltending situation.

Andrew Hammond may get his second straight after a sparkling 42-save performance against the Montreal Canadiens in his debut Wednesday in a move that makes the most sense.
And in regards to Anderson:
Craig Anderson, who has been out a month with a deep bruise to his blocker hand that won't allow him to hold a stick …
Ouch …
The play that knocked out both players occurred in Monday’s game against Carolina when MacArthur got tangled up with Carolina’s Jay McClement and slammed into Lehner late in the second period. Initially, it looked like MacArthur got the worse end of the collision, with his head hitting into Lehner awkwardly.

Both did leave the game after the play. MacArthur was helped off the ice by teammates – though a stretcher was initially brought out for him since it looked far more serious – while Lehner skated off under his own power. Apparently it was worse than it initially appeared for Lehner. And now pretty bad for Ottawa’s goaltending as well.
