WUSA 9 had an interesting idea to kill time during training camp: Take a photo of Bryce Harper, Washington Nationals star, and see how many Washington Redskins could properly identify him.
They play in the same city, so you'd think that most of the football players would at least know who the biggest baseball star in Washington is, right?
Many Redskins had no clue who Harper was, and the funniest answer came from Redskins back Alfred Morris.
"Is that Tom Brady?" Morris asked WUSA when shown the picture.
Oh, Alfred. The odd thing is he doesn't recognize Harper or Brady, one of the biggest stars in the game he plays. That's a clown answer, bro.
From the count WUSA provided, nine Redskins figured out it was Bryce Harper, while 12 didn't know or couldn't get his name quite right (Roy Helu: "Harper? Matt Harper?"). It's not the best look for MLB's marketing department that not even 50 percent of the Redskins asked can identify one of baseball's biggest stars, who happens to play in the same city.
We won't even guess how few of the Giants or Jets could recognize Matt Harvey.
