Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder has been the butt of jokes for years.

It is hard to blame Snyder for skipping an event designed to make fun of him.

Capital City Showcase, a variety show featuring local artists in D.C., will roast the Redskins owner on Feb. 4, according to The Washington Post. Snyder is not expected to attend this free roast, but comedian Adam Friedland will portray the owner during the event. In addition, comedians Jamel Johnson, Pat Riley, and David Tveite will "mercilessly" rip into Snyder's character, according to dcist.com.

Here are some topics that will probably come up during Snyder’s “tribute”:

- Redskins nickname

- Robert Griffin III

- Mike Shanahan

- Redskins nickname

- Kyle Shanahan

- Albert Haynesworth

- One winning season since 2007

- Redskins nickname

- Jim Zorn

- Steve Spurrier

- Redskins nickname

You get the idea.

Snyder may not be in attendance, but do not laugh Jerry Jones.

You might be next in Dallas.
