WATCH: Hawaii center Ben Clarke execute a high dive backflip (Video)

There are few things better than watching a lineman score a touchdown.

But, since we’re in the offseason, we present to you the next-best thing — a lineman backflip into a swimming pool.

Meet Hawaii center Ben Clarke, who absolutely nails this high dive backflip. Yes, he lands feet first instead of head first, but there's probably some rule of physics to explain that one.

We’ll admit that a cannonball would have been fantastic, but we are wowed by the grace with which Clarke executes his dismount. Bear in mind that Clarke is listed at 6-foot-3, 285 pounds, so there are a lot of variables in play to make this happen.

Clarke, a senior, has not missed a start in his career and since he managed to not smack his head on the diving board during the maneuver — and not land on his stomach — we expect that streak to continue into 2015.
