Colorado moves into brand new locker room, players go nuts (Video)

Colorado only won two games in 2014, but there are positive vibes around the Buffs football program – especially after the brand new facilities were unveiled to the team.

The Buffs got a first look at their new locker room in the Champions Center on campus Sunday night before preseason camp began Monday.

You can see just how excited the players are about the new digs in a video released by the program.

“They were jumping around and hugging each other and screaming and yelling,” head coach Mike MacIntyre said after Monday’s practice. “We had to kick them out of there because they just kept wanting to stay in there, in the lounge and everything. It was really exciting and they really love it.”

In addition to the locker room, the players have access to a lounge that features a theater and game area, among other amenities.

“When you see pictures, you know it’s going to be nice,” linebacker Kenneth Olugbode said per the team website. “But then you actually walk in and it’s breathtaking. Shock and awe when you walk in.”
