Southern Miss player’s facemask had to be removed from Arkansas player’s jersey (GIF)
A wardrobe malfunction briefly halted the Arkansas-South Miss game as a Golden Eagles player got his facemask wrapped up in an Arkansas player’s jersey.
The thing was so tangled the facemask had to be removed with a screwdriver before trainers were able to detach it from running back Alex Collins’ back.
I think we’re all thankful that the helmet came off defensive back Ed Wilkins’ head as it got tangled up otherwise, considering where the mask was located, that might have made for a pretty awkward situation.
