Never play 'Sweet Home Alabama' in Butch Jones' presence (Video)

If there’s one song you should hear at a Tennessee football practice, it’s “Rocky Top,” and based on the reaction of Vols head coach Butch Jones in the video below, it should never be “Sweet Home Alabama.”

The latter song began playing loudly at a recent Vols practice and a flustered Jones tried to figure out who was responsible.

It wasn’t coming from the football program, but there was a charity event taking place at the nearby baseball stadium. Jones had his culprit.

“Go over to the baseball field and turn that (expletive) off,” Jones said to a staff member. “Hey. I’m serious, run over there and see if it’s the baseball field and tell them that we’re at Tennessee and don’t play that here. You can tell them I sent you.”

I’d bet that no one on Tennessee’s campus makes that mistake again.
