Mack Brown live-tweeted the BCS Championship Game and was very entertaining

Former Texas coach Mack Brown watched the BCS Championship Game like many fans on Monday night and if you were following along to his Twitter feed, it was incredibly entertaining.

Brown live-tweeted the game and was prescient when Tre Mason scored with 1:19 left. Now trailing by four, Florida State had two timeouts to get down the field and score a touchdown.

Brown was also quick to note that Florida State's winning touchdown came in the same end zone at the Rose Bowl as Vince Young's winner in 2006. Though we must add that Young's TD officially came with 19 seconds on the clock.

That was the only BCS Championship Game that Browns' Longhorns won. Texas lost to Alabama in 2010.

Following the game, he also offered a couple suggestions that we can whole-heartedly get behind. While the College Football Playoff is undoubtedly an upgrade over the BCS, a bigger tournament would be great. And preseason polls are fun to talk about, but they unduly influence the rankings as the season progresses.
