Scottie Wilbekin gets to Chomp this time in win over Ole Miss (Video)
Scottie Wilbekin just couldn't help himself.
And who could blame him? Well, who other than Ole Miss fans?
Wilbekin and his Florida teammates were annoyed in the days leading up to Saturday's game against the Rebels by a video playing on loop in their facility back home. The video coach Billy Donovan used featured Ole Miss guard Marshall Henderson showing up the Gators by doing the Gator Chomp in March after Ole Miss beat Florida to win the SEC championship.
So there was Wilbekin celebrating the Gators' 75-71 victory over the Rebels on Saturday by doing the Gator Chomp on Henderson's home court in Oxford. (See Wilbekin in action in the video below).
Wilbekin scored 18 points with seven assists to lead Florida, which improved to 14-0 in the SEC and 25-2 overall. Wilbekin also guarded Henderson at times Saturday and while Henderson led the Rebels with 22 points, he needed 20 shots to get there.
