North Carolina’s P.J. Hairston hilariously pranks teammate Marcus Paige

It remains to be seen how many games P.J. Hairston has to sit out to start the season as a result of his reckless behavior this past summer, but the North Carolina guard proved Monday he can still make his presence known even before he's fully reinstated.

Hairston pulled a great prank on teammate Marcus Paige, leaping out of the unsuspecting point guard's locker when he went to open it after practice. Sophomore forward Brice Johnson captured the moment on video and posted it to Instagram Monday evening.

Tweeted Hairston, "S/o to @marcuspaige5 lmao! Got ya bro."

Responded Paige, "Yeah smile now...just wait!"

Give Hairston an 8.5 out of 10 for his prank, but it's not the best one pulled off by a North Carolina player in recent years. That honor goes to five Tar Heels walk-ons on the 2010-11 team who covered the exterior of forward John Henson's car with 2,400 brightly colored sticky notes late one night.

That one sets the bar high. Perhaps Paige can top it when he gets his revenge.
