14-time major champ is making serious progress in his recovery from back surgery
Tiger Woods was hitting full shots this past weekend at Medalist Golf Club, his home club in South Florida, according to Golf Channel insider Tim Rosaforte. Woods, who had been restricted to chipping and putting, is beginning to work his way through the bag, including driver. Rosaforte makes sure to point out that this is no guarantee Woods will be returning in time for the Open Championship - or at all this year - but it's promising news.
