SportsDash: Clowney’s Heisman stock already trending down? Not so fast.

With just three tackles and no sacks on the stat sheet, Jadeveon Clowney failed to live up to the unreal expectations heaped upon the 20-year-old defensive end over the offseason -- at least statistically. Critics said Clowney looked lazy and out of shape in South Carolina's 27-10 season-opening win over North Carolina.

Yahoo! Sports' Eric Adelson (@eric_adelson) saw something totally different Thursday night, which he discussed with Dave Briggs on SportsDash. According to Adelson, Clowney dominated NFL prospect James Hurst on nearly every play and his lack of a sack came as a result of UNC's quick-release passing game.
