CSN: Volin says Sudfeld is a ‘baby Gronk’

When he looks at Patriots rookie tight end Zach Sudfeld, Ben Volin sees shades of another New England pass-catcher.

"I'm driving the bandwagon on Sudfeld. I love this kid," Volin said. "I mean he is basically baby Gronk, 6'7", great athlete, really good in the run game as well.

You've got to love Legarette Blount's 51-yard touchdown, and he was able to finish it off because Sudfeld was hustling downfield and making that final block to spring him. He also had a really nice 22-yard catch-and-run and broke a couple of tackles," Volin said. "This kid can run, he's good in the redzone, no he's not going to put up Gronk stats right away, but he's going to be a threat in the redzone."
