Check out the least deserving NBA ejection you'll ever see

The Celtics lost to the Lakers in overtime on Sunday, 118-111, and one of the contributing factors was the absence of deadline-pickup Isaiah Thomas down the stretch. The reason he wasn't on the floor? The 26-year-old point guard had been ejected after picking up a double-technical with 5:03 to play in the fourth quarter.

This happens pretty frequently in the NBA, but what makes the instance with Thomas notable is the seemingly innocuous behavior that led to the ejection. Check it out for yourself in the video above.

First of all, the offensive foul call was laughable and though Thomas might have deserved a whistle for slamming the ball after the play, the second technical is totally inexplicable. After the game, coach Brad Stevens said the official told him that Thomas was ejected for throwing the ball at him, but in the replays everything looks pretty innocent.
