Best of Premier League Day 1

Today marked the opening of the 2013-2014 Barclays Premier League season. The day was highlighted by Aston Villa's surprising 3-1 victory over Arsenal. Manchester United picked up where they left off last season by routing Swansea 4-1. Norwich and Everton gave us our only tie of the day, while Southampton capitalized on a late game PK to win a close match 1-0 over West Brom. The action continues tomorrow on NBCSN with Tottenham and Crystal Palace, followed by Hull City and Chelsea.
