Video: The Timberwolves sing ‘N Sync

In the world of team-produced viral videos, the Dallas Mavericks have stood out from other NBA teams for their impressive creativity and willingness to be weird. Most teams wouldn't create a bizarro parody of Kanye West's "Power" video with Dirk Nowitzki, and that's where they set themselves apart.

However, this year the Minnesota Timberwolves are giving them a run for their largely theoretical Internet money. Last week, they brought you "Where in the World Is Nikola Pekovic?" As if that delightful romp weren't enough, they have now released a clip of several Wolves singing karaoke to the 1997 'N Sync hit "Tearin' Up My Heart" (original version here). Join the fun as everyone from Michael Beasley, who enunciates with all the flair of the "Chacarron" guy, to Ricky Rubio, who was actually in a Spanish 'N Sync cover band called "Timberlago," performs one of history's most ironically sung songs.

Come back in a few months when David Kahn will sing Peter Cetera's "The Glory of Love" to stump for Kevin Love's All-NBA candidacy.
