Kyle Busch, wearing pink firesuit, is a pretty good sport

RICHMOND, Va. -- Kyle Busch. In a pink firesuit with flowers and puppies and kittens. What started as a goofy Toyota Sponsafier commercial has become reality, as you can see there at right. He'll be rocking the firesuit in Friday night's Nationwide race.

"We're hoping our car is pretty decent for tonight where we can have a shot to win," Kyle said. "And of course go after trying to make it 11 wins; the record-breaking win of the year in the pink suit ... I wouldn't mind doing that."

Busch has to be feeling a little more comfortable here now than he was this time a year ago, when he was desperately trying to make the Chase (and ultimately falling short by just 8 points). He's now locked into the Chase, and he's got designs on a championship.

He's also got a strategic plan: "If you run well for the first five races and then you go to Talladega and struggle, you'll have a cushion built up," he noted. "You want to always try to build a cushion as big as you can. You don't want to start from behind." (As he can tell from experience, when exactly that happened in 2008.)

Anyway, clearly Kyle Busch is at ease this weekend, as are most of the Chase drivers. And any race that gets Kyle into a pink firesuit is worth watching.
