The five upcoming fights you may be looking past

The rest of the year is stacked for MMA fans. Nearly every UFC belt will be contested, Bellator will run their fall tournament, and a season of "The Ultimate Fighter" that has promise is set to air. But fights like Jon Jones vs. Alexander Gustafsson and Chris Weidman vs. Anderson Silva II are grabbing most of the headlines. Which ones are being overlooked?

UFC on Fox 8 -- Demetrious Johnson vs. John Moraga, July 27: It's the main event of a Fox show, but the flyweight belt doesn't always merit as much consideration as the heavyweight. It should. Both of Johnson's title fights have been thrilling, while Moraga is on a seven-bout winning streak. The last two wins were by stoppage.

Bellator -- Michael Chandler vs. David Rickels, July 31: Have you ever been bored by a Chandler fight? In his 11-0 career, the judges have only been used twice. He'll ran through the Bellator tournament to get a chance to fight Chandler.

UFC on Fox Sports 1 2 -- Kelvin Gastelum vs. Paulo Thiago, Aug. 28: Gastelum scored an upset when he won over Uriah Hall in "The Ultimate Fighter" finale. He's getting a big test in Thiago, who has 20 fights under his belt.

World Series of Fighting -- Gerald Harris vs. Jorge Santiago, Aug. 10: This fight is on the preliminary card that will only air on the WSOF website. Both fighters have won fights in the UFC and with Dream, and have knockout power in their hands.

UFC 166 -- Gilbert Melendez vs. Diego Sanchez, Oct. 19: Melendez waited for years to get a shot at the UFC. He lost to Benson Henderson in April, but is now looking to earn his first UFC win. Sanchez will be fighting in his 30th fight, and will want to get a win to start a winning streak.
