(Completely un)shocking news: Filho drops out of Bellator bout

Former WEC champ Paulo Filho has dropped out of his Bellator bout scheduled Thursday.

I know. You just spit out your drink and fell out of your chair in shock. I'll give you a minute to recover.

Yes, it's true. Paulo Filho, who may now be nicknamed "Troubled Fighter," was supposed to fight Bellator middleweight champ Hector Lombard in a non-title bout at Bellator's show in Monroe, La. Now, UFC veteran Jay Silva is reportedly stepping in.

If you're keeping track, this is the third fight that Filho has dropped out of. In October, he pulled out of DREAM.12; in February, it was Bitetti Combat and now, Bellator. What will it take for promoters to stop taking a chance on him?
