LMFAO: The Cubs are teaching their prospects the ins and outs of party rocking

With Theo Epstein and Jed Hoyer now running the show on the North Side, it's been said that the Chicago Cubs will undergo a complete culture change from previous regimes.

But who knew the culture would slant so young and goofy? Here's footage of the Idaho Cubs being taught the dance moves to LMFAO's hit song "Party Rock Anthem" at a recent prospect camp practice. (Admittedly, the connection here is kind of a stretch: The Idaho Cubs are sponsored by the Boise Hawks, Chicago's short-season Single-A affiliate. But it doesn't mean we can't have fun with it in the middle of January.)

The video shows the Idaho Cubs receiving dance instruction the entire time — no, seriously, it actually does — but the youngsters really start to be sorry for party rocking around the 1:45 mark.

Anyway, remember that you saw it here first: Shuffling skills are the new inefficiency.

Agreed. That camera man needs to either spit the gum out or stop blowing his sound guy.

The Idaho Cubs aren't a Cubs minor league team. The Boise Hawks are.

Get a clue. It's the name of the band who performs the song they're dancing to.

Yep and it's also an abbreviation for Laughing my #$%$ A$$ off... And if you had a clue you'd know that too... Do you think kids knew that when they read the headline? I mean, do you really think they read your articles? I, for one, did not.

This is the kind of crap that will forever keep us in last place as far as series trophies goes. Don't dance, d a m m i t !!!! Learn to play competitive balll!!! they take this circus garbage all the way to Wrigley, where too much circus c r a p already goes down, like the guest 7th inning stretch and the stupid "go Cubs go" song.
