Watch out Ron Burgundy, this high school news crew may have you beat

Sure, this high school news report might not be entirely about prep athletics, but it starts with a sports segment, and it ends as quite possibly the greatest news program in history.

It comes from Wasatch High Heber City (Utah), and they film this every week. Seriously, it streams live from the school's YouTube channel, and it's incredibly addictive. There are dozens of these Emmy Award-worthy gems, and I challenge you not to watch them all.

Let's just quickly break down the top five moments of the most recent embedded episode.

  • The opening words, describing the Richie Incognito fiasco: "Sucks for him."

  • "Westbrooks!"

  • Everything about that interview with the boys basketball coach, especially the way the interviewer holds the microphone.

  • Whoever was screaming during the weather report: "More on! More on!"

  • The "don't shave your face" sign-off. Perfection.

And if you don't believe that all the Wasatch High news reports are this good, do me a favor and watch their commercial in which they take a bizarre FIFA video game goal celebration and recreate it across all sports from 5:04 to 5:32 of the Halloween episode. Or the business reporter's "How's the digging my shovels?" intro at 3:30 of this one.

I'm not sure Anchorman 2 can possibly top this news crew.
