Virginia returner eludes 11 would-be tacklers on amazing 99-yard kickoff return TD

By this point in the season there have been plenty of impressive kickoff and punt returns. None have been better than the preposterous effort you see above, courtesy of Hampton (Va.) Maury High star Davion Taylor, who simply refused to stop running or juking until he reached the end zone.

In the end, Taylor's effort traversed a total of 99 yards, few of them easy coming. He eluded 11 tacklers -- a full team's worth -- and eventually trotted into the end zone. Making matters even more impressive, Taylor's touchdown return was essential for the Commodores, the squad eventually ekeing out a 27-25 victory against a talented Hampton (Va.) Woodside High.

Taylor also had three receptions for 106 yards and two additional touchdowns in the Maury victory.

Incredibly, thus far Taylor seems to have flown completely below the major college recruiting radar. He is not listed in the database of any national recruiting website. He has a series of highlights on Hudl, but little other evidence that he is anything more than a run-of-the-mill receiver.

Against Woodside, he proved he's anything but ordinary.
