The best play-by-play voice in prep lacrosse just dropped a Kanye West verse

This call of Dustin Vitagliano's goal in Trinity-Pawling (N.Y.) School's 9-6 win over Baltimore's Calvert Hall College High this week is just the latest example from the greatest lacrosse voice known to man.

The voice you hear is Booker Corrigan, who hosts a sports talk radio show in Baltimore every Thursday and calls the local prep lacrosse Game of the Week for Kudda.com. And, yes, he quotes Kanye West: "Don't ever fix your lips like collagen and say something when you gon' end up apologing."

His "Can't Tell Me Nothing" reference isn't the first time he's used a hip-hop lyric for a call. Corrigan dropped a "Big Poppa" line after a goal a couple years ago, and his YouTube play-by-play highlights from 2012 and 2013 are filled with lyrics from "Milkshake," "U Can't Touch This" and "Jump Around" along with movie referenes to "Dodgeball," "Hangover" and "Nutty Professor." He is the most interesting man in lacrosse.

His calls are so popular that prep players actually boo their coaches when they turn down the sound during a film session. How else are they supposed to hear classic Corrigan lines like, "heating up faster than a junkie's spoon," or, "just like the day after a bad chili cook-off, we're knotted up at deuces."

The nation needs Booker Corrigan calling the NCAA Division I men's tournament this spring. Needs it.
