Celtics coach Brad Stevens had a Hoosiers moment as an Indiana prep basketball star

Apparently Brad Stevens can do more than just coach.

On the same day the Celtics coach earned the most shocking victory of his young NBA career, The Boston Globe posted some of his high school highlights to its YouTube page.

The video you see above appears to be from a sectional championship game between Stevens' Zionsville High Eagles (Zionsville, Ind.) and nearby Lebanon High (Lebanon, Ind.) in 1995, when he scored 97 points in three sectional tournament games to capture MVP honors as a high school senior.

Stevens scores Zionsville's first 11 points on four straight makes to start this game.

His victory over Lebanon that season avenged a buzzer-beating loss to the same school in the sectional championship game during his sophomore season, a moment he called "my worst memory in sports" in Baxter Holmes' fantastic recent profile of the 37-year-old.

Stevens apparently still has that sweet stroke, burying jump shots after Celtics practice.
