The guy clearly enjoys using the entire color wheel. He certainly used it again on Friday, wearing a pink getup that had him looking just a little bit like an Easter egg.
Aside from the look, Fowler was also sporting some color somewhere else ... on his scorecard. In what will surely be one of the most bizarre rounds of the tournament, Fowler only posted seven pars on his card during the second round, a sign that he definitely had an interesting day at work.
His back nine (the front nine at Muirfield Village) was pretty tame by most standards, as he carded five pars, two birdies and a bogey. But his front nine? It included two pars ... three birdies, three bogeys, and a triple.
For all of the color Fowler wears, his card definitely matched his style. The craziest part of all is that even with all of the big numbers on the front nine, he still managed to fire a 1-over 73, and finds himself only a handful of shots back of the lead at 3-under for the tournament.
But just a word of advice, Rickie: the next time you want to add some color to your card, make sure its of the blue variety. Despite your love for Oklahoma State orange, that color never looks good on a scorecard.
