Ian Poulter struggling for the Euros, flubs one into hazard at 9th
Ian Poulter's been labeled "The Postman" by his European peers for his ability to deliver 12 points in 15 career Ryder Cup matches.
However, Poulter's struggled so far in his partnership with Stephen Gallacher, the only man playing on home soil this week in Scotland.
On the par-5 ninth hole, Poulter tried to get to the green in two, but instead flubbed his approach shot, hitting a low fade that landed in the guarding water hazard, some 70 yards short of the green.
The Americans went on to win the ninth with a birdie and go 4 up in the match.
