Shuffle Up Schedule: Blake Bortles ready to feast

Let’e establish something up front: this exercise is as much for fun as it is for practical application. Strength of schedule is more important in a micro sense then it ever will be on a macro sense, especially at fantasy playoff time. The name of the game is survive and advance. We’ll deal with next week’s tricky matchup next week, fantasy gods willing.

That said, I do think there’s some merit of looking ahead in a three-week clump, trying to figure which teams have the best and worst matchups in aggregate. Obviously, everything remains fluid. Offenses and defenses are constantly in a state of flux, jelling and falling apart, gaining and losing talent, trying and discarding plays and ideas. Keep this all in perspective.

What I’m ranking below is the passing schedues for each NFL team. A team’s offensive personnel has nothing to do with it. My method is partly based on defensive numbers and partly basis on subjective measures. You’re welcome to take it somewhat seriously, less seriously, or not at all seriously.

If nothing else, maybe it will help you navigate the waiver wire when considering players who otherwise appear equal.
