Monday Night Fliers: Morris, Washington D/ST worth your consideration

Fantasy owners looking to cash big in Yahoo DFS are always in the market for connector players, low-dollar options that provide roster flexibility and fatten wallets. Every Monday we'll bargain hunt in an attempt to unearth buried treasure. Today's featured buys come from Dal/Was, a matchup with few fantasy interests.

Alfred Morris, WAS, RB ($14 in Yahoo DFS) – Nada. Nunca. Zero. Zilch. That's how many touchdowns Morris has scored in 11 games this season. Trumped at the goal-line by Matt Jones and even Chris Thompson, he's seen a tremendous drop-off in overall fantasy worth. But on Monday Night, gut says his streak of TD infutility ends. Morris has seen a vigorous workload in games which Washington either lead or was highly competitive. Twice in the past three weeks he's logged at least 18 touches in a contest running with the vision and power that elevated him into the RB1 class not long ago. His opponent, Dallas, is incredibly giving. This fall, the 'Pokes have surrendered the seventh-most fantasy points to rushers. Overall, seven RBs have scored at least 11 fantasy points against them. On roughly 15-20 touches, Morris records 90 yards and his first touchdown of 2015.

Washington Redskins D/ST ($12) – Two-faced. That's what Washington is defensively. On the road, they're complete nincompoops giving up explosive pass plays on a routine basis. However, their considerably meaner at home surrendering only 17.4 points per game. Dallas, under Matt Cassel's direction, is swine manure on offense. The 'Boys' allegedly immovable offensive line has given up 2.2 sacks per game, 10 coming in five contests with Cassel under center, a surprising number considering their 'sterling' reputation. Washington rarely gets to the quarterback, but Monday night could be a different story. Combine that with Cassel's turnover proneness (8 TOs in last five games) and it's easy to understand why Washington is a highly recommended stream.
