Zendaya, Tom Holland spotted at BNP Paribas Open watching women's tennis final

Celebrities are often spotted around the grounds at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden during the BNP Paribas Open, but one of the biggest stars on the planet was on hand Sunday for the finals.

Zendaya, the actress who stars in the current biggest movie "Dune: Part Two" and the popular television show "Euphoria," was enjoying the action Sunday with boyfriend Tom Holland, an actor in his own right who is most famous for playing Spider-man.

The two were taking in the women's final between Iga Swiatek and Maria Sakkari — which Swiatek won 6-4, 6-0 — in a box suite at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

They announced Zendaya's presence late in the women's final and said to make sure to catch her upcoming tennis-based movie "Challengers." In that movie, Zendaya plays a former tennis prodigy turned coach.

According to Swiatek, she had a chance to meet Zendaya after her win.

"I already got used to all this post-match craziness," Swiatek said. "For sure, meeting Zendaya was crazy, but on the other hand, she's a human like all of us. So I was just happy that she's enjoying tennis and she's having this movie with tennis theme coming out. So that should be really exciting. She can practice with me any time if she wants to. But for sure it was fun and she's a really great person. I feel pretty privileged that I'm in this place where I can meet these kind of people."

There was an hour between the women's final and the men's final and once word got out that Zendaya and Holland were in attendance, fans began interacting with them during the downtime. Fans of theirs were throwing tennis balls and hats to them which they would catch, sign and throw back. This lasted about 15 minutes before finally they had to stop and return to their seats.

She and Holland stayed and watched the men's final between Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev.

Other celebs spotted in the crowd throughout this tournament include Charlize Theron, Will Ferrell, Michelle Wie, Elisabeth Shue and Bill Gates. All of them are frequent visitors to the event. Katharine McPhee sang the National Anthem before Sunday's first match.
