New York Giants at Minnesota Vikings: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 16 matchup

The Minnesota Vikings (11-3) are hosting a Winter Whiteout at home after winning the largest comeback in NFL history. Their opponent is the New York Giants (8-5-1) who are coming off a win of their own in a key divisional matchup.

Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson have secured their playoff berth and clinched the NFC North. They have won three of their last four games.

Brian Daboll has doubled the Giants' win count from last year in his first season and got the team back in the win column last week after a four-game drought.

Here's a look at the betting details and USA TODAY's NFL staff picks for the Giants vs. Vikings Week 16 game:

Safid Deen: Vikings 27, Giants 21

You don’t know which Vikings team is going to show up every game, to no fault but their own. But they still have too much offensive firepower behind Justin Jefferson and Dalvin Cook to play like they did last week against the Colts. The Giants will make it difficult, but Minnesota prevails at home.

Victoria Hernandez: Giants 24, Vikings 21

The Vikings have to be gassed after last week's historic comeback. Their starting center is banged up and their playoff spot is already locked in. The Giants have more to play for and Saquon Barkley is feeling the best he's felt in a while. Plus Kayvon Thibodeaux has been balling out.

Jaylon Thompson: Vikings 27, Giants 26

The Vikings will continue their magical run against the Giants. Minnesota finds a way to win each week and it will be no different on Saturday. Here is another caveat: the Vikings are 7-1 at home and have an outside chance at homefield advantage. It's enough motive for Captain Kirk to steer the ship once again to victory.
