York-Adams football coaches release all-star teams, players of the year for 2023

YAIAA football coaches have released their selections for league all-stars, players and coaches of the year for the 2023 season.

Here are the choices by division.

Division I

Offensive Player of the Year: Juelz Goff, Central York

Defensive Player of the Year: Ayden Wysocki, South Western

Coach of the Year: Tony Shermeyer, South Western

Goff led the YAIAA with over 1,400 rushing yards and 27 touchdowns for the 10-0 Panthers. Wysocki had 73 tackles, 20 tackles for a loss, six sacks and three fumble recoveries. Shermeyer led South Western to a 7-3 record and the program's first playoff win since 2011 despite having a young roster.

Coach of the Year: Jason Warner, New Oxford

Holmes caught 34 passes and racked up 926 yards. He averaged 27.2 yards per catch. He also scored 20 total touchdowns. Zirkle had 104 tackles, three interceptions and two sacks. Warner led New Oxford to a 9-1 record and the program's second straight YAIAA Divsiion II title.

Coach of the Year: Corey Bittle, Littlestown

Littlestown swept the awards after finishing 8-3 and splitting the YAIAA Division II title in Bittle's first season as head coach. Hahn rushed for 817 yards on 142 carries, caught 17 passes for 359 yards and scored 19 total touchdowns. Prawdzik had 59 tackles, 14 tackles for a loss and five sacks.
