YAIAA coaches announce 2023-24 boys' soccer players of the year, all-stars
Northeastern, Kennard-Dale and York Catholic athletes were honored as players of the year for their divisions, it was announced Wednesday.
YAIAA coaches named Northeastern senior midfielder Evan Jennings as the Division I Player of the Year. He recorded 11 goals and three assists for the Bobcats.
Kennard-Dale goalkeeper Logan Sumner was selected as the Division II Player of the Year. The junior recorded 64 saves and allowed just four goals.
Division III named a player of the year and goalkeeper of the year.
York Catholic senior Andrew Schuler was named Player of the Year after scoring 17 goals and handing out 15 assists from his midfielder position. Littlestown senior Christopher Meakin was named Goalkeeper of the Year after recording 106 saves and giving up 20 goals. He had five clean sheets this season.
YAIAA seniors will participate in an all-star game at 7 p.m. Nov. 8 at Red Lion.
