World Cup 2018: Day 12 in pictures

It’s down to the final matches in the group stages.

No more 1pm kicks-offs just two at 3pm and two at 7pm. All this week.

Hosts Russia will look to secure top spot and an easier passage in the last 16 by beating Uruguay while Mo Salah’s Egypt end their campaign against Saudi Arabia in the battle to avoid last place.

At 7pm, the real fun begins. If Morocco beat Spain by two goals and Iran draw with Portugal, then the Spanish, winners in 2010, are out.

The odds are on both Spain and Portugal making it through but if Iran can upset Cristiano Ronaldo’s side and beat them then it’s an early exit for the European champions.
