Wizards G Beal out two weeks

Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal reaggravated a right leg injury that first crept up during the spring and will miss at least two weeks.

Beal, averaging 20.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 40.2 minutes per game, was diagnosed with a stress reaction to his proximal right fibula.

According to the Wizards "He will miss the next two weeks and then be re-evaluated. The injury was diagnosed by team doctors following an MRI exam on Monday after Beal experienced soreness in his right leg."

Beal missed the final eight games of last season due to a stress reaction to his distal right fibula.

Beal, 20, was the third overall pick in the 2012 draft. He had a recent stretch of five 25-plus point games in a seven-game span and along with point guard John Wall, has stabliized the Wizards.
