After a Sunday postponement due to inclement weather, the 66th iteration of NASCAR's Daytona 500 is set to get underway on Monday afternoon. Who will win this year's race?

Three-time Daytona winner Denny Hamlin is the favorite to win the first race of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series; his last Daytona win came in 2020. Joey Logano is also among favorites to win after finishing in second place last year and taking pole position on Wednesday.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who won the race last year, is tied for 18th in odds, per BetMGM.

Here's what to know to bet on this year's Daytona 500.

2024 Daytona 500 predictions

Sportsbook Wire: Christopher Bell, Bubba Wallace are bets with good value

Kevin Erickson writes, "Christopher Bell (+1800) won Thursday’s Bluegreen Vacations Duel 2, so he enters the 500 with a little momentum. Bell starts from the 4th position, but where you start at the superspeedway doesn’t really matter as much as some tracks."

The Tennessean: Experts pick Ryan Blaney, Chris Buescher and Denny Hamlin

Tom Kreager writes, "Denny has been absolutely masterful in the Daytona 500. He's won it three times — 2016, 2019 and 2020. He enters the 2024 NASCAR season with 51 wins and this checkered flag to open the year would tie Cale Yarborough for the second-most Daytona 500 wins."

Sports Illustrated: Ryan Blaney to finish top five

Mark Lammey writes, "Over the last four Daytona 500 races, Blaney has finished in the top 10 in three of them. Two of those were top-five finishes (second and fourth), while the only outlier in those four races was one in which he didn’t finish the race."
