What's new with the Wilmington Sharks in 2023?

The Sharks have looked at new ways to keep spectators engaged at every home game.

New general manager John Hunt says the experience at Buck Hardee will be better than ever as fans will have chances to win prizes and engage in promotional activities every game.

"We're adding a lot more fan experience to the ballpark," Hunt said. "There will be tons of prizes from major sponsors."

Fans will even have the chance to win a Toyota Tacoma truck if a Sharks player hits a home run into the bed of a truck in the eighth inning. Fans must be in attendance and have to be over 21 years old to win.

In an effort to speed up lines for concessions, Buck Hardee will be completely cashless this summer.
