Willy Bolly red card: Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has no complaints with decision vs Manchester City

Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo had no complaints about the red card shown to defender Willy Boly in his side’s 3-0 defeat to defending Premier League champions Manchester City.

Gabriel Jesus scored twice as City moved back within four points of Premier League leaders Liverpool with a comfortable 3-0 win.

The Brazilian struck after just 10 minutes at the Etihad Stadium and added a penalty before the break as City made easy work of their visitors, who had Willy Boly sent off after 19 minutes.

Boly, who controversially scored off his hand when the sides drew 1-1 at Molineux in August, received a straight red for a bad challenge on Bernardo Silva.

And Nuno had no complaints with the red card.

He said: “It was a very tough night for us after we concede the goal and the red card.

“Playing against 11 is tough, with one man less it's harder. It is a 30-yard pass that breaks us. Man City controlled the game but we had a plan and with the goal and the red card everything went down.

“I think we showed character, we were brave, always working hard. We have to forget about it and try to look ahead.”
