Where UGA football ranks in key stats ahead of the Georgia-Florida game

Georgia football has a clear statistical edge over Florida on third downs. The Bulldogs do an excellent job of getting off the field defensively and extending drives on offense.

Florida tends to play better than Georgia in the red zone on both offense and defense, which could help the Gators stay in the game against Georgia. Florida’s offense has been solid, but not spectacular to start the season. Star wide receiver Ricky Pearsall leads the Gators in receiving.

Georgia, Michigan, and Penn State are the only three teams in the country with both a top-10 scoring offense and a top-10 scoring defense.
