Here’s where two Gators go in College Sports Wire’s NFL mock draft 6.0

Less than two months remain until the 88th annual edition of the 2023 NFL draft, which kicks off on April 27 and runs until April 29 in Kansas City, Missouri. With the selection order firmly in place, the sports media has been publishing its respective mock drafts including College Sports Wire’s Patrick Conn who released his sixth edition of the CSW mock on Friday.

The first Gator off Conn’s board is quarterback Anthony Richardson, who is projected to be picked seventh by the Las Vegas Raiders. Here is what Conn had to offer on the athletic signal-caller’s draft prospects.

There is no more Derek Carr in Las Vegas and Jarrett Stidham has been in the league long enough to know that he isn’t the answer. Richardson might be a boom-or-bust prospect, but he has the athleticism to make a difference for this organization.

The second Florida alumnus selected is offensive lineman O'Cyrus Torrence, who is projected to the Tennessee Titans with the No. 11 pick. Here is the lowdown on the former Gators offensive lineman.

The Titans’ offensive line needs a shot in the arm and Torrence can be a mauler on the inside for just about any team in the NFL. Adding the former Gator gives them a day-one starter at RG if Nate Davis leaves in free agency.

The previous UF alumni taken in the first round of the draft are cornerback Kaiir Elam (2022, No. 23), tight end Kyle Pitts (2021, No. 4), wide receiver Kadarius Toney (2021, No. 20) and cornerback CJ Henderson (2020, No. 9).
