Where is Ohio State football ranked in the polls after Week 9?

Ohio State remained No. 3 in the Associated Press poll and US LBM Coaches Poll following its 24-10 victory at Wisconsin.

It was the third consecutive week in which its ranking did not budge in either of the major polls.

The margin between the Buckeyes and Michigan, which has been at No. 2, narrowed last week following their win over Penn State, but widened slightly this weekend.

The Buckeyes, who had trailed the Wolverines by only 50 vote points in the AP poll last week, were behind by 58 on Sunday. The gap of 63 points in the coaches poll was also up to 66 points.

In both polls, Ohio State has three first-place votes. Georgia, the two-time defending national champion, remains atop the polls.

The College Football Playoff’s selection committee on Tuesday is to release its inaugural rankings, which are used to determine the participants in the four-team postseason that determine the sport's champion.
